CYRA Engineers provided MEP engineering services for Madison Reed’s beauty salon in Plano, focusing on comfort, safety, and compliance. In barbershops and salons, proper ventilation is critical to manage airborne particles, odors, and chemical vapors from hair dyes and treatments. Our team designed dedicated exhaust and makeup air systems to maintain healthy indoor air quality per ASHRAE standards. Electrical systems were coordinated for salon equipment and energy-efficient LED lighting with Title 24 controls, while plumbing design addressed domestic water, sanitary sewer, and fixture requirements. This project highlights our role in ensuring beauty environments meet both health and building code requirements.
